Step Four: Comb out. Use after Herbal Conditioner at least three times a week on braids, locks, twists, natural styles and hair transitioning from chemicals to natural.
The Protective Mist Bodifier is a daily leave-in conditioner. Can also be used for comb-outs and detangling curly hair. Use on wet or dry hair. The Protective Mist Bodifier coats, protects and softens the curl pattern. This results in easier to comb hair as well longer lasting styles. For the best results, use the complete line of Black Earth Products.
- Spray on scalp and hair from the root to the ends.
- Use at least three times a week for best results.
- After completing steps 1-3 of the Black Earth System towel dry hair.
- Separate into large plaited sections, start at the nape area and un-plait one section at a time.
- Apply Protective Mist Bodifier to the hair in the un-plaited section.
- Comb through using a large toothcomb.
- Comb out from the ends and work up to the roots.
If your hair is chemically processed-wet the braids. If not, do not wet the braids.
Separate the hairstyle into several bunches of braids. Start at the nape area
and work with one section at a time. Spray the Bodifier on the point of extension
attachment and on the braids. Use your fingers to work the product into the braids.
The hair should begin to loosen. Use a comb to undo the links in the braids.
To remove Kanekalon or synthetic braids:
Separate the hairstyle into several bunches of braids. Start at the nape area and
work with one section at a time. Spray the Bodifier to the point of attachment
and on the braids. Use your fingers to work the product into the braids. The
hair should begin to loosen. Use a comb to undo the links in the braids.
After you have removed the extensions do not shampoo the hair until you
have thoroughly combed through the hair.
